Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski announced his retirement from gaming development last year. That didn’t last long.
Bleszinski took to Twitter to post a world first image of a game he’s been working on, making it the first time since his departure from Epic Games that his involvement with a project has been confirmed. The Twitter post reads:

It appears to be a shooter, but the possibilities are endless. What are those guards protecting? Did Bleszinski not notice that parts of the environment are invisible? The canyon appears very large and detailed, especially for a game that is likely in early alpha. There’s a good chance that it’s a next-gen title with exclusivity not out of the cards. Bleszinski has always been about pushing hardware, anyway.
