The Falls Festival is bringing Vampire Weekend, Grizzly Bear and The Roots to Australia over the New Year’s holiday.
The festival dropped the lineup announcement Monday morning on Triple J’s Breakfast with Tom & Alex.
Also featuring are MGMT, !!! (Chk Chk Chk), English rockers London Grammar, The Wombats, Rüfüs and big Australian acts Big Scary, POND, The Cat Empire and Chet Faker.
The Falls Festival, celebrating its 17th year, is expanding to Byron Bay and will play at the North Byron Parklands, the same venue that featured Splendour in the Grass late last month.
Lorne, Victoria (18-plus): December 28–January 1
Marion Bay, TAS (all-ages): December 29-January 1
Byron Bay, NSW (18-plus): December 31–Jan 3
Aside from The Roots, the same lineup will double up for the 10th annual Southbound festival in regional Western Australia,kicking off January 4.
