There’s an upbeat hypnotism to Father John Misty that most men would kill for. In the new video for “I’m Writing A Novel,” off the new album Fear Fun, frontman Josh Tillman does what you might imagine in his time offstage – drinking, shooting guns, doing karaoke with Santa, doing normal guy stuff. Except Tillman makes it look exciting by virtue of charisma, and you realize you’d probably love hanging out with the guy.
Director Noel Paul documents Tillman as he makes his way through the various musical avenues of his life, and the results are engrossing. Check it out below!
