Lorde, also known as 17 year old New Zealand sensation Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O’Connor, is still riding high on the stregnth of her smash hit “Royals,” has announced the first string of dates for a Springtime tour run through the U.S. And according to her Reddit AMA over the weekend, festival dates and more touring in the States is planned for the near future.
Already becoming the youngest artist to write all of her own material and top the U.S Billboard charts, her debut single and new album Pure Heroine has topped the charts in 45 countries and sold 7.5 million copies across the globe. In March, Lorde and her band will be embarking on a 16-date tour across North America which starts in Austin, Texas, making stops New York City, Chicago, Boston to name a few and winding up on the west coast at the 2,800 capacity Fox Oakland Theater in California.
