WildStar is only a month from releasing. Can you believe it? Years of work from veteran MMO developers has come down to this, a huge MMO that looks to invigorate the genre with humor and fun.
Coming down the stretch there is only one more closed beta weekend confirmed, and it runs from this Friday, May 2 at 7:00AM PST to Sunday, May 4 at 11:59PM PST. We’re certain that you want to be a part of it, and Carbine Studios has kindly bestowed upon us 15,000 beta keys to give to you, the PC gamers, MMO fans, and curious types.
Made better, we have a few Rowsdower Plushies to give away. In order to enter for a chance to win one, all you need to do is go to our Facebook page and send a message to us including an in-game screenshot with text over it (you can use MS Paint or a website like Picfont to add the text). Our favorite captioned images will be featured in a post-giveaway article and the winners will have a plushie sent straight to their door!
The deadline for the Rowsdower Plushy Giveway is Monday, May 5th at 10:00AM, giving you enough time to enjoy the beta weekend and come up with a cool image to share. Please note that this giveaway is for United States residents only!
Here’s what the Rowsdower Plushies look like:
This beta weekend will increase the level cap from 20 to 25. If there’s one beta weekend you want to be a part of, this is the one. A new UI and character creation options were recently added, and here are a few more features being unlocked:
- New Adventure – Northern Wilds Adventure is a MOBA style group content experience for you and four of your buddies. Take over the whole map and destroy the enemy base to win, but watch out for the defending faction… they’ll viciously fight to win so come prepared to kick ass.
- Whitevale – The Dominion version of Alcatraz, Invading Alien scientists (…that dissect anything that moves), and a sunken ship filled with treasure hungry Marauders are waiting for your arrival. Oh… and a nuclear teraformer explosion has unleashed brain controlling squid on the Exile and Dominion military forces. No big deal.
- Hoverboards – Like hoverboarding? Duh. Of course you do. Get your hoverboard at a mount vendor in the capital city!
- Abilities and AMPs – Get new abilities to put in your Limited Action Set so you can continue to customize the way you destroy baddies, and unlock more perks in our AMP system.
- Unlock more clues to the history of the Eldan – Where did this hyper-advanced race go? What kind of technology and secrets are out there? Where can you get a solid space fish taco on Nexus? Get out there and find out, Spanky.

Redemption Instructions:
Creating an NCSOFT Account (NOTE: If you already have an existing NCSOFT account, you can safely skip these steps.)
- Visit the NCSOFT account creation website and enter your details.
- Follow the link in the email you receive to verify your email address successfully.
Redeeming your WildStar Beta Key
- Log into your account using the NCSOFT account website.
- Click “Apply A Code” on the red banner near the top of the page.
- Paste in the serial key you received.
- Click Apply.
- If you receive a success message, you’re good to go! If you receive any errors, double-check that the serial key was correctly entered.
- Note: These codes are for North American accounts only.
