Outlast is set to receive its Whistleblower DLC next week, developer Red Barrels has announced.
The DLC will release online on PS4 and PC and May 6th in North America, while European PS4 owners will be able to buy it on May 9th. It’ll cost $9.99.
Whistleblower will place players in the shoes of software engineer Waylon Park, as inevitable nightmarish events ensue during the final chapter of Mount Massive Asylum’s story.
Outlast was branded one of the scariest games of this decade so far, picking up a great deal of positive reviews from critics and gamers alike. The game, which saw players exploring the hellish Mount Massive Asylum as a curious journalist, was released on PC and was also made available as a free download for PlayStation Plus subscribers on the PS4.
