Jamie T has revealed his first new material since his 2009 LP Kings of Queens, the awesome, melancholic new track ‘Don’t You Find’.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1, the Wimbledon troubadour revealed that the single is the first to be taken from his next album, which is also set for release though has not yet been named. He said: “I thought it was kind of different and a nice track. I spent a long time working on songs over the past few years and trying to get power out of slow songs rather than using tempo to get aggression out.”
The singer-songwriter is also set to play his first live shows since he finished his promotional tour for King of Queens, announcing four UK dates. These include:
Glasgow Art School (July 29)
Liverpool Kazimier (30)
Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (31)
The Dome, Tufnell Park, London (August 7)
He will also be using the talents of a completely new band for his third LP, so expect it to be a departure from his older material.
