Phillip Island festival Beyond The Valley has confirmed the first three acts for its inaugural New Year’s Eve line-up.
The festival confirmed a first-hand leak revealed by The Preatures vocalist Isabella Manfredi in Beat, offsetting the Manfredi’s early admission by revealing the participation of international guest Action Bronson and local chart-topping duo Peking Duk.
“It’s New Years Eve, on an island, with Victorians. What else could you ask for, a hangover spa?” Manfredi told Beat.
Expected to draw 10,000 punters to the two-stage, “distinctive annual music festival with a focus on production, décor and theming”, the festival made the early announcement official shortly after on the BTV website.
“Well there you go, someone let the cat out of the bag a bit early…,” posted Beyond The Valley on its official Facebook page.
“We can confirm the artist leaks that Beat Magazine & theMusic.com.au have sourced today are in fact true.”
“Action Bronson, The Preatures & Peking Duk will all be playing at Beyond The Valley! Our full lineup will be announced very soon.”
The two-night camping festival has inherited the grounds of the now defunct Pyramid Festival and will offer a prime “set up in the lushest of green fields, with views of rolling hills and the ocean beyond” plus a “higher standard” of food and accommodation, including “a pop-up luxury hotel with its very own concierge and first class amenities including a daily hangover spa”.
