The third and final day of Lollapalooza 2014 wrapped up the Chicago-based music festival in epic fashion with a muddy mess, thanks to crazy torrential downpours.
We kicked off the day by checking out Cage the Elephant, a band that was clearly not bothered at all by the weather, and managed to put on an incredible performance amongst the rain and muck. The group is only getting better and better with each set they perform. There’s really been no better time to check these guys out.

Glen Hansard mellowed the mood thereafter with a much more chill act that couldn’t have been more different from the explosive excellence of Cage the Elephant. That said, he totally killed it, bringing that distinct folk style he’s known for. Following that, we checked out Chromeo, who delivered a high-octane performance that was truly unforgettable. Be sure to check out our interview with Dave 1 and P-Thugg if you haven’t already.
Closing out the festival was Childish Gambino, whose performance served as an excellent cap to our three-day adventure at Lollapalooza 2014.
