The prologue to the upcoming The Phantom Pain, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is seemingly set to finally arrive on PC on December 18th.
This news was circulated by NeoGAF users who spotted that multiple Russian news sites who attended the local video game convention Igromir had made posts allegedly confirming the date.

Series’ creator Hideo Kojima had already confirmed that both Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain would be making their way to the PC via Steam, though hadn’t revealed when that would be. Konami has yet to officially confirm whether or not this release date is legitimate, but we’re inclined to believe that it is.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was released on the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 back in March to mixed reviews. While many stated that it was a good example of what would be on offer in Phantom Pain, it was also widely regarded as an overpriced title considering its short running time.
The Phantom Pain is set to release at some point in August, though given the length of time it has taken Konami to release Ground Zeroes on Steam following its console launch, PC gamers should expect another long wait following its debut on Sony and Microsoft’s systems before they get their hands on it.
