It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 10 years since World of Warcraft was released. It’s had an eventful life since 2004, and truthfully the world will never be the same. RPG fans, and even non-gamers have been immersed into its virtual world, turning something fictional into reality with meaningful social interactions.
Blizzard has decided not only to celebrate World of Warcraft‘s anniversary at BlizzCon this weekend, but also has put together a documentary for the occasion. It’s called World of Warcraft: Looking for Group, and it will be released at 5:00PM PST on Saturday. It will be debuted just before BlizzCon’s closing ceremony, which will feature Metallica.

To introduce the documentary, a trailer has been put together. In it you’ll see many of the players who have been influenced by the game who tell their story in the documentary, as well as members of the development team who have taken part in forging the game’s unequaled universe.
World of Warcraft‘s fifth expansion, Warlords of Draenor, will debut on November 13th. We’re going to be returning to the fray, and invite you to join us. We’ll be streaming at twitch.tv/CraveOnlineGaming, and will be organizing groups to tackle the game’s new generation of content.
