The Sunshine Coast’s Big Pineapple Music Festival has unveiled its 2015 lineup, led by Brisbane rockers Violent Soho, Sydney indie group The Jezabels and roots stalwarts John Butler Trio.
Other acts announced for the festival on triple j this afternoon include the likes of Jebediah, Thundamentals, Dune Rats, Colin Banks, The Belligerents, Timberwolf and Sarah Howells, with more still to be announced.
The third iteration of the Big Pineapple Music Festival is set to take place at a new site, with three stages amongst a cosy forest setting, complete with camping grounds for 2,500 punters. Organisers say the main stage viewing area has been expanded, with the dance party stage moving to a new green field under a gum tree. What could be more Aussie?
Some of Australia’s finest bands have played The Big Pineapple Music Festival in recent years, including the likes of Birds of Tokyo, Bliss N Eso, Grinspoon, Art Vs Science, The Living End, British India and Sticky Fingers.
