In 2015 there’s no easier way to garner cheap publicity for your game than by releasing a ludicrously priced collector’s edition, and like a fly barreling towards a lump of feces, here we are giving coverage to this ridiculous offer.
UK retailer GAME is currently advertising a £250,000 ‘My Apocalypse Edition’ of Dying Light, which has already been released digitally in the region, with physical copies of the game arriving on store shelves in Europe on February 27th. This ridiculous collector’s edition, which includes a “custom built zombie-proof shelter” along with “zombie survival parkour lessons,” appears to serve as a reminder for those who had perhaps forgotten all about the game following its delay in Europe.

For £250,000, here’s everything you can get in the ‘My Apocalypse Edition,’ which will only be made available to one individual with more money than sense:
- A zombie-proof shelter provided by Tiger Log Cabins
- A photo of your face scanned onto your Night Hunter.
- A human-sized volatile figure.
- Zombie survival parkour lesons with the Ampisound parkour and freerunning team.
- 4 signed steelbook copies of Dying Light on Xbox One.
- 2 Razer Tiamat headphones.
- Branded night vision goggles.
- Branded adult diapers…
- A trip to a Techland party with “Steve the zombie consultant,” culminating with a Be the Zombie match.
The zombie shelter will feature an escape hatch, an armory for any weapons you may have, a surround sound system, a living room with a TV and an Xbox One console to play one of your four copies of Dying Light on.
If you haven’t got £250,000 to spare but would still like to get your hands on the zombie-proof shelter, you can actually buy one directly from Tiger Log Cabins‘ website for the cheaper (but still expensive) sum of £62,995.50. It looks hideous, but someone out there probably wants one anyway.
