Kendrick Lamar‘s hotly anticipated upcoming album, To Pimp a Butterfly, is starting to drip, with a funky new leak called “King Kunta” showing a robust growth on wax. It’s the best new track we’ve heard since his “Untitled” performance on Colbert a few months back.
The third song to surface from Lamar’s follow-up to 2012’s already-classic good kid, m.A.A.d city is crazy strong, a glorious lyrical ride with nods to Michael Jackson and his own domination of the Compton rap scene. This one’s got legs – check it out below.
Pre-order To Pimp a Butterfly, which is out on March 23, through iTunes.
