New Mortal Kombat X Trailer Reveals Undead Liu Kang and the Grisliest Fatalities yet

NetherRealm Studios has released a new trailer for Mortal Kombat X, revealing some more information regarding the game’s story along with highlighting a number of x-ray moves and Fatalities, including one which may now rank among the most ludicrous/hilarious finishing moves in the series’ history.

In the above trailer, it is revealed that Raiden’s champions of Earthrealm have risen from the dead, and are now under the control of the evil Elder God, Shinnok. This means that you’ll get to see Liu Kang and Kung Lao in all of their undead glory, fighting for the bad guys against Raiden & co.

The trailer also puts more focus upon series newcomer Kung Jin in a particularly intense confrontation with Sub-Zero. along with highlighting some skull-cracking x-ray moves and a Fatality which sees Liu King ripping out the esophagus of his opponent, before shoving it down their throat.

The PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of Mortal Kombat X are set to release on April 14th, 2015, while the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will release between Q2/Q3 2015. An iOS and Android version of the game was also recently revealed, with it being pegged as a mixture between a fighting game and a CCG (collectible card game).
