CraveOnline took a moment to talk to DJ and producer Junior Sanchez about his experiences down in Miami for Ultra Music Festival 2015, starting off right away with discussing briefly his new label launch that he felt was quite successful and packed with “the whole family” of collaborative artists. Afterwards, he segues into considering what it is exactly that has helped UMF grow from a smaller to a larger event.
When asked “How do you see the sound evolving in the future?” Sanchez dropped a simple, yet elegant quote: “I think everything kinda goes in cycles, like…the wheels don’t get reinvented, they just get spun.” It implies that EDM styles are simply revolving and not necessarily evolving.
