Will Audiences Go Mad for ‘Max Max: Fury Road?’

Critics are going absolutely insane for Mad Max: Fury Road, declaring it “one of the greatest action movies ever made.” But Mad Max really that good? Will audiences flock to see a Mad Max reboot, when the last film came out 30 years ago, and its competition is the enormously popular Pitch Perfect 2? And what about the small number of fans who seem pissed off that the film has a feminist message, and that Charlize Theron’s role is even bigger than Tom Hardy’s?

‘The Fugitive’ Will Run Again at Warner Bros.

One of the most critically acclaimed thrillers is coming back to the big screen, after making television history and earning an unlikely Oscar nomination for Best Picture. Will younger audiences go nuts for a new version of The Fugitive? Should Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones return, even though they are both probably too old to be jumping off of dams or working as a U.S. Marshal? And should Warner Bros. ignore the previous films and start anew, or find some way to tie this new version of The Fugitive into the previous, short-lived film franchise?

Comics Come to Television: ‘Lucifer,’ ‘Supergirl’ and More

They’re already dominating the motion picture industry, so why not TV too? New geek-friendly series like SupergirlLuciferPreacher and Legends of Tomorrow are coming to a home entertainment system near you next year, but which ones look like they’re actually worth your time, and which ones make our Most Craved hosts skeptical?
