Spider-Man Has a New Aunt May

Aunt May is back, and she’s hot.

Confirmed by Variety today, Marisa Tomei, the 50-year-old actress of The Wrestler, Crazy, Stupid Love, and Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead will play Peter Parker’s Aunt May in the upcoming Marvel/Sony Spider-Man venture set for release on July 28th, 2017. Aunt May was played by Rosemary Harris in the 2002 Spider-Man film, and Sally Field in the 2012 Spider-Man film. Is it us, or is she getting more and more attractive as the years pass?

Check Out: Tom Holland to play Spider-Man

It was confirmed on June 23rd that actor Tom Holland would be playing Spider-Man in the next Spider-Man feature film, which will be the third major film continuity of the character since 2002, and the first to tie into the long-running Marvel Avengers franchise, making it the 16th in that series. Holland will appear, via cameo, in the 13th Marvel film, Captain America: Civil War, set for release on May 6th 2016. Although there is no word as to whether or not Tomei will appear in that film.
