Last year, Robert Rodriguez launched the El Rey Network with From Dusk Till Dawn, a reimagining of the cult 1996 film of the same name that Rodriguez conceived with Quentin Tarantino. This time, the infamous Gecko brothers, Seth and Richie were played by D.J. Cotrona and Zane Holtz, respectively.
Rodriguez expanded upon the story from the first movie to create the first season of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series which culminated in a fight to the death between the Gecko brothers, their hostages and reluctant allies against a bar full of Mexican vampires. Unlike the original movie, Seth didn’t reject his former hostage, Katie (Madison Davenport) when she asked to stay with him. Another big change was the fate Richie, who rejected his brother when he was transformed by the beautiful vampire Santanico Pandemonium (Eiza Gonzalez). Both Richie and Santanico managed to survive before escaping the infamous Titty Twister bar.
From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series returns to El Rey next week, but Richie and Santanico Pandemonium aren’t going to wait that long! In CraveOnline’s exclusive clip from the second season premiere, Santanico shows off her monstrous side as they demand answers about Amancio Malvado (Esai Morales), the vampire Lord whom Santanico has vowed to destroy for enslaving her.
