Karl Stefanovic is already a man of many talents but Melbourne’s Laundry Bar wants to expand on that by convincing him to perform a DJ set.
The bar, which has already hosted DJ sets by Melbourne rapper Bangs and John Safran, has started a petition to get Stefanovic’s manager to call them back so they can arrange a DJ set.
“We’ve been trying to get Karl Stefanovic’s management to return our phone calls and emails for months now, because we’ve listened to our demographic and their demands, and they want Karl” club organisers wrote on the change.org petition.
“Karl if you can see this, can you get Sharon from Celebrity Management to call us back so we can book you in for sometime in October / November?”
The petition already has 570 signatures with only 470 to go until they reach their target of 1000. We’re not really sure what happens after that given that Karl’s managers have no legal obligation to call them back but they will have peer pressure which always helps.
The only problem with Karl making the transition into DJ Karlos is he’d have to stay out late and wake up early for Today, although if the morning after the Logies has taught us anything it’s that he has no qualms turning up for work with a few drinks still in his system.
C’mon Karl, get behind the decks.
