The Chicago Cubs Won A Playoff Game!

In case you missed it, the Chicago Cubs had quite the party Wednesday night following their 4-0 National League Wild Card win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Aside from advancing into the NL Division Series in which they’ll face their arch-rival St. Louis Cardinals for the first time in post-season history, the Cubbies win over the Bucs was their first in 12 years.

The team hasn’t won a World Series in 107 years. But it appears they won’t lack the enthusiasm and confidence to make a run for it in 2015. After all, Marty McFly wouldn’t have it any other way would he??

It would be epic, and Twilight Zone-ish, to see the Cubs actually advance, yet a lone, win a a World Series. In a way I hope it doesn’t happen. Chicago just might burn itself down.
