Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Went Behind The Scenes Of ‘Doctor Who’ And Freaked Out

Slipknot’s Corey Taylor is unexpectedly a massive fan of British cult TV show “Doctor Who” so he became a complete fanboy when the producers of the show asked him to lend his vocals to an episode.

Taylor voiced the terrifying roar of alien warlord Fisher King on the fourth episode of the current season of the show which aired in the UK over the weekend.

“I was asked whether I would be interested in doing something for the show. And I freaked the fuck out,” he told Kerrang! (via Blabbermouth) about being approached to do the show.

“I’ve been a ‘Doctor Who’ fan since I was a kid. It’s been a part of my life forever. So, of course, the answer [to their offer] was,’Fuck yeah!'”

Now footage has emerged of Taylor going behind the scenes of the show and basically freaking out. It’s the first time he’d seen the set beyond a television screen and he’s like a kid in a candy store as he moves around Doctor Who’s TARDIS. You also get to see him record his vocals which basically looks like he’s in the studio recording a Slipknot record.

If you’re not keen to go back and watch the entire episode just to hear his scream, they have also thrown in the scene where Fisher King screams right at the very end of the clip below.
