If you didn’t manage to get your hands on tickets to Chet Faker‘s massive ‘Built On Live’ tour all hope isn’t lost because it’s just been announced that his Saturday show at the Sydney Opera House will be live streamed.
The full concert will be beamed to a computer, tablet or phone near you from 9pm on Saturday, meaning you can sit back and watch the gig in the comfort of your living room.
These will be Chet’s final shows in support of his debut album Built On Glass and they precede the release of his forthcoming collaborative EP with Marcus Marr Work. The pair have already dropped The Trouble With Us and given that Marr is one of the supports we wouldn’t be surprised if we see the two team-up onstage.
The Opera House is, of course, the crème de la crème of Australian live venues and they have streamed full sets by the likes of The National, The Jezabels and Megan Washington. All of those sets are available to watch in full on YouTube so if you can’t watch the Chet stream live, chances are you’ll be able to catch up later.
The ‘Built On Live’ tour kicked off last week in Melbourne and Brisbane. This weekend will see him play two shows at Sydney Opera House, the Saturday show of which will be followed by an after-party.
Excited to announce #livestream of @Chet_Faker‘s performance 7 Nov 9pm AEDT presented by @Intelanz! Watch here → https://t.co/0kuc1sQ5km
