Crave is proud to premiere Promised Land, the new EP from NY rockers Marco With Love. The new EP – to be released digitally Nov. 13 alongside a 45” vinyl – was produced by Anthony “Rocky” Gallo and frontman Marco Argiro, and features an all-star supporting cast of players including Robbie Seahag Mangano of The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger on lead guitar, Jake Saslow of Michael Buble’s live band on tenor sax, and Daniel Sampfel of At The Moment on baritone sax.
Building off the momentum of their recent Tidal Wave EP, the release is a ray of California sunshine down a Costello-filtered New York street, and includes an Americana-strut cover of Tom Petty’s “Anything That’s Rock n’ Roll”. Check out the full stream of Promised Land below and pre-order, exclusively premiered on Crave:
“During the writing and recording of the Promised Land EP, the band really hit a creative stride, and it shows through on the EP’s original tracks,” explains Argiro. “Then, of course, we included a cover song to pay tribute to one of our greatest musical influences–Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.”
Marco With Love will support the New EP Promised Land with a string of shows on both coasts in November, including performances at Black Bear Bar in Brooklyn on November 12, Hotel Café in Los Angeles on November 14 and Harvard & Stone in Los Angeles on November 16.
Additionally, singer Marco has been cast in the new HBO series Vinyl as a legendary rock icon – but we can’t let the cat out of the bag just yet as to who he’ll be playing. Stay tuned for more developments…
