During the second annual crossover event between The Flash and Arrow, Hawkman and Hawkgirl escaped their fated demise when Vandal Savage was defeated and reduced to ash. But that won’t be enough to keep a good villain down!
The ending of this week’s Arrow episode teased Savage’s resurrection, and that’s a disaster for humanity in the far future. The CW has released a new trailer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which features Savage’s conquest of the future. For time traveler Rip Hunter, the stakes are very personal. And he’s brought together a team of heroes and villains to bring down Savage by attacking him across history.

Additionally, The CW has released a new poster for Legends of Tomorrow, which features the complete team in action.
Legends of Tomorrow stars Brandon Routh as the Atom, Caity Lotz as White Canary, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein, Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl and Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter. Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin will make guest appearances as Arrow and the Flash, respectively.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will premiere on January 21, 2016 on The CW.
