The most popular team in the country for decades, the lovable losers haven’t even been to the World Series since the end of WWII, and haven’t won it since a guy named Teddy Roosevelt was President.
Yup, so it shouldn’t be too surprising that Cubs Spring Training tickets are going through the roof, making the north-siders currently more costly to see than any other MLB team.
What used to be $5, $10, $15 to catch your favorite team in a Spring Training scrimmage, is currently costing a median of $70 on the after-market, according to VividSeats.

It’s very surprising that Doyers and Natn’ls tickets are in the cellar. Those are two teams stacked with talent with a real shot at a World Series.
But if you ask me, I’m going to whichever ballpark has the best food. Just don’t ask me to spend $70 on Cubs tickets.
