Cubs Slugger Kris Bryant Pranks College Team, Poses As “Transfer”

Kris Bryant, at just 24-years-old, is the starting third-baseman for the Chicago Cubs who already slugged 26 home runs in a short rookie season last year. He’s an MLB star who will soon be a super-star known by ever soccer baseball mom in the country.

However, for now, he’s still under the radar just enough to pull one more incognito prank.

Bryant stepped away from Arizona Spring Training for a couple hours and teamed up with the head coach of the Mesa Community College Thunderbirds. The goal? Make the team think they have a new European star joining the club — Good news if you want a ring, bad if you want playing time.

Here’s “Roy Nabryt” (‘Roy’ is short for Rookie of the Year and ‘Nabryt’ is Bryant with letters twisted) in action.
