The ESRB has posted a rating for BioShock: The Collection, all but confirming the existence of the rumored compilation.
The ESRB describes it as “a collection of three first-person shooters,” with it looking set to include the original BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite. It’s not yet known whether the collection will have a physical release or whether it will be digital only, with publisher 2K Games having yet to officially announce it.
There have been no details regarding a new BioShock game since the series’ creators Irrational Games went defunct in 2014, so revisiting the three old games in remastered form could potentially be the only new BioShock experience fans will receive in quite some time.
There’s no news on when the game will be officially confirmed, nor when it is expected to be released, but we should imagine that we’ll get our hands on it at some point later this year.
