Everyone knows that that Terry McGinnis is the Batman of the future…or least he used to be. Now there’s a new man in the Batman Beyond suit: Tim Drake!
Yep, Tim Drake is stuck in a future he never made, and the former Robin hasn’t exactly made the greatest Batman. Terry McGinnis earned his place as the Batman and Drake just can’t seem to make the role his own. Plus he keeps getting his ass kicked. If it feels like Drake is drowning in someone else’s life, it’s because he is!
In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview from Batman Beyond # 13, Drake literally finds himself drowning as Barbara Gordon attempts to save his life. But what if Tim Drake doesn’t want to be saved? Has the former kid sidekick thrown in the towel already?

“Past and present overlap as Batman and Barbara Gordon attempt to unravel the secret of Rewire. It’s no longer the same man behind the suit, so who is it? Meanwhile, we get a glimpse into the past as Terry McGinnis Batman conducts a search for a possibly resurrected Joker. What light can this parallel search from the past shine on the mystery of the present?”
Writer Dan Jurgens and guest artist Bernard Chang are the creative team of this second chapter in a four-part tale, with a cover by Philip Tan. Batman Beyond # 13 will be out this Wednesday, June 1.
