Jean Oddi passed away on February 20 after living 91 years. 91 years, holy hell. But just because she was up there in age does not mean that she had lost her sense of humor, because even in death Oddi made sure to keep people laughing with her hilarious obituary.
Let’s first take a look at Oddi with her daughter and her granddaughter thanks to the Facebook photo below.

That lady looks pretty damn happy for 91. And Oddi’s obiuary has gone viral, as people everywhere have been filled with laughs reading it.
Oddi’s obituary began like this:
“I was born. I lived. I died. I hate to admit it, but evidently I died. I guess, after all these years, God finally figured out where to put me. I should have known the end was near after I had to be in room # 20 in the emergency room. I hate even numbers.”
And it continues with this:
“I’m leaving behind a hell of a lot of stuff Casey and Melissa will have to get rid of. So, if you’re looking for random crap, you should wait the appropriate amount of time and get in touch with them. But this is not the time to talk about what I may or may not have bought from the JC Penney Outlet or TJ Maxx, this is about me.”

“I loved the smell of lavender, drinking hot coffee, teaching my granddaughter dirty songs, telling jokes and stories from the bad old days, cooking and eating, hosting huge holiday meals, baking pizzelles, cookies and cakes, including one that takes four days!
I had hilarious and memorable adventures to Florida, Washington DC, Vegas, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, Australia, Europe, the Panama Canal and sorry Casey, Canada. Oh, dammit, I really wanted to go to Asia. I’m proud to have been the president of my own corporation, #1 AH, and to have received my doctorate in Bitchology, please see my card.
A short service by Rev. Copeland will be held at The Trillium, 3500 Trillium Crossing Way on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 am … If you are sick, don’t bother to come. I might be dead, but I still don’t want your germs.”
We can all learn a lot from this rad lady — regardless of your age keep laughing through life. That’s all anyone can do these days.
