Music festivals have a reputation for being a bit on the high side when it comes to the amount of drugs in the crowd. Hell, Woodstock was full of hippies, so it’s, like, part of the culture, man.

Some people might not be too into drug use, though. In fact, there are those who absolutely hate the idea of narcotics — both from the Earth and a lab — being so easily passed around while the music hypnotizes the crowd.

The hatred runs so deep that sometimes people think God himself is telling them to do something about it.

Man Arrested With Fake Drugs Was ‘Doing God’s Work’

At the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival currently going down in Tennessee, a man named David E. Brady was approached by police because cops believed they saw him with what looked like narcotics.

“Looked.”

When they shook the guy down, he told them he had several mushrooms on him — they weren’t mushrooms.

According to the a report from The Knoxville News Sentinel, this guy had a ton of fake drugs on him. The reason why is because he was just doing what Jesus would do.

Authorities searched Brady and, according to an arrest warrant, found 37 pills made to look as if they were molly – a synthetic drug that alters mood and perception, 22 bags of fake mushrooms, about 1,000 hits of fake acid, 20 bags made to look like cocaine and an incense stick made to look like black tar heroin.

The arrest warrant goes on to say the Brady told deputies that he was “doing God’s work by selling fake drugs.”

Doeth as the lord say, I guess. And if God says to sling some fake shit, well then you have to abide by his word and sling some fake shit. Hallelujah!
