Meanwhile on TikTok: Chunky Baby Is Our 2022 Mascot, But Where Does She End?

As we continue to trod into 2022 and re-enter society after two years of pandemic panic and Covid quarantining, we don’t all necessarily feel like our best selves. Let’s be honest: we’ve let ourselves go in more ways than one, though the most obvious measure of our new no-fucks-given attitude is our weight. Forget the Quarantine 15; we’ve gone far beyond that now. Thankfully, we’re not the only ones. A chunky baby, who has gone viral on TikTok, is officially our new mascot.

Blaze Soliai is a six-month-old who weighed a normal 7 pounds, 2 ounces at birth. Now, she’s 23 pounds and off the charts for weight and height.

“Whenever we leave the house, people are like, ‘Oh my God, I just want to squish her cheeks.’ ‘Look at those rolls!’ She gets lots of attention,” Blaze’s mother, Leanne Soliai, told TODAY Parents.

Blaze has her mom’s breastmilk to thank for all that pudge. (Who knew it was so fattening?)

The chunky cherub, who goes by the nickname Smiley, already has a devoted TikTok fan base because of family videos posted by her two moms.

We don’t know what we’re more envious of — the way Blaze wears her extra weight with grace or how popular she’s become from it.
