It’s clearly not enough to say that Diablo 3 was one of the most anticipated games of the year. Sales within the first 24 hours were record breaking for PC titles. Within the first week, well over 6 million people stormed into Sanctuary to save the world from the demon lord. I hope you all remember what lead us to this.

Someone once asked me what my favorite game for the N64 was. I told them it was Waverace 64. After the initial shock wore off they composed themselves enough to start spewing forth title after title of games which they thought were better than Waverace. Before the list grew too long I calmly interjected, "Yes, those are all wonderful games to play but to do so I'd have to put my drink down.
