Update: Activision has announced that Black Ops 2‘s Revolution DLC will hit PlayStation 3 and PC on February 28. The content will cost $14.99, or you can download it for free if you’re a Season Pass owner. You can watch a trailer for the content below.
Original Story: If you’re an Xbox 360 owner and fan of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, then today is a good day. The game’s first downloadable content, “Revolution,” drops on the 360 for 1200 MS Points, or is a free download if you’re a DLC Season Pass holder.
To usher in the occasion, Activision and Treyarch have released another new trailer for the add-on, bringing the grand total up to three at this point (first there was the primer, then the “replacer” spoof). It’s an all-out media blitz for DLC. That’s the world we live in now. Soak it in.
Revolution introduces four new competitive multiplayer maps, one new Zombies mode map, a new weapon, and, for the first time ever, the ability to turn into a zombie in Zombies mode. Whew.
The content will be coming to PS3 and PC at a later date.
