One minute, you’re enjoying all that San Diego and Comic-Con 2013 has to offer — the next, CraveOnline is gonna have you fighting for the freedom of the planet, staving off an alien invasion that’s engulfed the Earth.
I mean, you knew CraveOnline wouldn’t just GO to Comic-Con, right?
As we did last month at E3, we’ve partnered up with our friends with the TNT series “Falling Skies” to bring you the Crave Invasion Experience, a first-of-its-kind happening in the Comic-Con Activities Zone outside San Diego’s Petco Park Thu., July 18 and Fri., July 19.
You won’t be able to miss us — we’ll be the ones with the massive 44-foot-long bus that’ll be ushering you into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You’ll get to feel what it’s like to join Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) and the rest of “Falling Skies” 2nd Mass as they struggle not only to survival, but to defeat the alien Skitters and free the planet.
You’ll be taken into an alien-invaded habitat — where even our own Crave Invasion girls might not be safe from the Skitter’s insidious mind worms!
While the experience is unlike any San Diego Comic-Con event you’ve ever seen, we feel pretty confident you’ll survive. So confident, in fact, that we’ll have raffles and plenty of “Falling Skies” swag — including t-shirts, bandanas, hoodies and alien sticky balls — that we’ll be giving away as a memento of that time you fought off an alien invasion.
We’ll also deck you out with some alien eye worm make-up of your own (with your permission, of course) as well as temporary 3D tattoos. You can even grab a photo at our mosaic booth, where you can pick up an instant print of your pic as a souvenir.
And hey — there are even free headphones in it for all of you who come by.
To join the fun, just come on by the Alien Safe Zone right across the street from the Convention Center Thu. and Fri. from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
