Mitchell Hurwitz really put Netflix on the spot. Hurwitz, creator of Arrested Development, was in Montreal for the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, standing next to Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos, when he said he definitely thought Arrested Development would be back for a fifth season.
In the interview, posted to Crave’s /Film website, Hurwitz also said he wants the whole cast back and not another anthology. For his part, Sarandos told the reporter that he’s absolutely okay with another season in any form.
We’ll have to see what pans out from the negotiations but here’s hoping for more Bluths.
