Warner Bros. may be looking to cast a more mature Dark Knight for the Batman vs. Superman movie.
Crave’s /Film website reported Monday Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling and Joe Manganiello are among the six actors they are looking closely at to play Batman.
That same source said the movie will not provide a Batman origin story and will portray the Caped Crusader as a grizzled, veteran vigilante. What this means for his relationship with Kal-El has yet to be seen.
Whomever is cast, Warner Bros. hopes to start shooting Batman vs. Superman early next year.
