City has a slew of new shows that will be appearing on the network with the launch of the fall 2013 schedule, including debut comedies and dramas, new original series, and the launch of a game show, not to mention a distinguished list of A-list actors who will be appearing in them.
“Million Second Quiz” kicks of City’s fall schedule Monday, Sept. 9th with two weeks of electrifying live competition. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest (“American Idol”), the series features participants testing the limits of their knowledge as they battle each other in intense bouts of trivia for 12 consecutive days and nights.
Anchoring City’s fall lineup are new comedy series, including: Chuck Lorre’s (“Mike & Molly”) hot new sitcom “Mom,” starring Anna Faris (“The House Bunny”); “The Crazy Ones,” starring Academy Award winner Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar; cop comedy “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” featuring an arresting performance by Andy Samberg (“Saturday Night Live”); “Super Fun Night,” starring outrageous Aussie comic Rebel Wilson (“Bridesmaids”); “Dads,” from Emmy Award winner Seth MacFarlane (“Ted”), starring Seth Green (“Family Guy”) and Giovanni Ribisi (“Gangster Squad”); “Back in the Game,” starring Academy Award® nominee James Caan (“Magic City”); and homegrown comedy “Package Deal,” created by Andrew Orenstein (“Malcolm in the Middle”) and starring Canadian funnyman Harland Williams (“There’s Something About Mary”).
Joining the lineup after salacious returning series “Revenge” is the sultry new drama “Betrayal,” which centres on two lovers caught in an affair, a murder investigation, and an impossible situation.
Rounding out City’s notable schedule are new seasons of smash-hit comedy series “2 Broke Girls” and “Modern Family,” along with “New Girl,” “The Mindy Project,” “Parks and Recreation,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “The Middle,” and “Raising Hope.”
