Paramount has once again moved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, starring Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Danny Woodburn, Will Arnett, William Fichtner and Whoopi Goldberg, and will now open the movie August 8, 2014.
Crave’s ComicBookMovie points out TMNT was originally supposed to debut this Christmas. Then it was moved to May 16, 2014, then June 6, before finally landing in August, a week after Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy opens. Supposedly, the move was made to keep the Turtles away from getting too close to another major Paramount release, Transformers 4, set to open June 27.
