The cameras weren’t rolling yet when William Bibbiani screamed his favorite line from Nadja at The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones star Jared Harris, so you’ll just have to imagine him yelling, “I’M GETTING A PSYCHIC FAX!” But that’s okay, because Jared Harris (“Mad Men”) was more than happy to talk about his latest fantasy role, Hodge Starkweather, the Shadow Hunter who teaches Clary (Lily Collins) about the secret world of demons occupying the same space as the real New York City.
Jared Harris also relishes the opportunity to brag about his “rapier and dagger” skills and suggests a Hodge Starkweather prequel series using Benjamin Button technology, so he can get all the good action sequences next time.
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones opens in theaters on August 21, 2013.
