The revival of the popular game show “Match Game” is coming back for a second season and will feature a bunch of familiar faces, including Darrin Rose, Seán Cullen, and Debra DiGiovanni.

One of Comedy network’s most-watched original series ever, “Match Game” reached an average of nearly two million viewers each week, averaging nearly 70,000 viewers every weeknight. Shot in Toronto, the retro-classic game show returns with 60 brand-new episodes of star-studded hilarity, led by host Rose, with Cullen and DiGiovanni coming back to anchor the panel for the entire season.

Russell Peters will help to kick off Season 2 of the series as Brampton, Ontario’s own stand-up superstar joins the celebrity panel for an entire week. The entire sophomore season boasts an impressive roster of Canadian and international funny persons including Canadian comedy legend Catherine O’Hara, “Kids In The Hall” vet Dave Foley (“Spun Out”), rapper and actor Ice-T (“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit”), “Daily Show” correspondents John Hodgman and Kristen Schaal, actor Tom Cavanagh (“Royal Pains”), actor and comedian Norm MacDonald (“Saturday Night Live”) and more.

“I’m excited to host another round of blank-filling on ‘Match Game,’” said host Rose in a press release. “Between the highly-intoxicating Sean and Deb, and the hilarious celebrity panel, I’m sure fans will find this season totally addictive.”

“Match Game” begins on September 2nd at 8:30pm.
