The game director for World of Warcraft says WoW might be someday free to play. That’s right … we’ll give that a minute to sink in.
Crave’s CinemaBlend broke the news Thursday about the world’s most popular MMORPG.

The fact that there are 4.3 million fewer players on the WoW servers this year than there were at it’s peak of 12 million may be playing a role in Blizzard’s thinking. Time will tell what actually happens for WoW players.
