Many big league pitchers have superstitions about stepping on the foul line on the way to the mound. No one ever thinks to watch out for their own feet … at least they might not have before C.J. Wilson's stumble and faceplant Tuesday.
Crave's NESN website caught the Angels lefthander trotting out to the mound at the bottom of the second inning at Tropicana Field to throw against the Tampa Bay Rays. He should get extra points from the judges for the head-first slide.
