It turns out that today the lead designer of 343 industries, Scott Warner, announced via his Twitter account that he will not be working there any longer. Instead, he began his new job as a design director for Visceral Games.
So what will this mean for the team behind the newest Halo saga? Take into consideration how Infinity Ward fell apart slowly a few years back, when they kept losing members one after another. Supposing everyone begins to follow behind Warner, the 343 Industries team could quickly become unrecognizable. Meanwhile, Visceral Games is ambitiously working on a new Star Wars game that could use Warner’s talent.
Then again, for all we know this may be the management change that the Halo 5 team needs to push to the next level. Regardless, congratulations to Scott Warner, and hopefully both teams can only get better to further better the industry.
