Montreal Comic Con, which is being held at the Palais de Congres, gets started today and runs through the weekend – guests of honour at this year’s event include Christopher Lloyd and “The X-Files'” Gillian Anderson.
From celebrity Q&As and panel discussions to games, photo ops, and celebrity autographs, there’s no shortage of activities going on during Montreal Comic Con. There will be a 10th anniversary reunion for “Battlestar Gallactica” being held on Saturday, September 14th – the main cast from the 2003 reimagined “Battlestar Galactica” series will be there with Edward James Olmos (Adama), Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck), Tahmoh Penikett (Helo), Michael Hogan (Tigh) and James Callis (Baltar). There will also be a meet and greet for 50 lucky fans with Felicia Day (“Supernatural,” “The Guild”). There will also be workshops on a wide range of topics, like creating your own costumes, how to get started in the comics industry, or a video game demo. Specialists from all corners of geekdom will be on hand to offer their special brand of expertise.
