On the final day of New York Comic-con, CraveOnline attended the press event for Fox’s breakout hit, “Sleepy Hollow.”
Already renewed for a second season, “Sleepy Hollow” follows the adventures of Tom Mison’s Ichabod Crane, who finds himself in the modern day as he partners with Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) to stop the Headless Horseman from triggering the apocalypse.
During the event, Nicole Beharie shared her thoughts on Abbie’s development and her relationship with the late Sheriff Corbin and her sister Jenny, while Orlando Jones told us what brought him back to Fox for “Sleepy Hollow” and when Captain Irving might have a larger role in the series.
Then executive producers Phillip Iscove and Heather Kadin tell us where the idea for the show originated, why the classic Sleepy Hollow story doesn’t exist in the show and they relate how Tom Mison’s audition won him the role of Ichabod Crane. Iscove and Kadin also tease the return of John Cho and Clancy Brown to the series while hinting at John Noble’s upcoming guest stint!
