Your team continues to play average – not blowing up the league but not sucking it up either. That’s fine, you’re just buying your time and waiting to make a New York Giants style run late in the season – right? Right?! We certainly hope so and that’s why we’ve got five guys that you should start this week – and in a few instances pick up from the free agent list – to help push your time in the right direction.
These five players basically revolve around two games – Minnesota against the New York Giants and Dallas against Philadelphia. Both should be high scoring affairs and both should offer plenty for owners.

Week 7 Sleepers
Nick Foles QB - Philadelphia
Though he might not be much of a secret any more to fantasy owners, Foles continues to make an argument for the Eagles’ starting job by racking up points. Last week Foles unloaded on Tampa Bay, throwing for 296 yards and three touchdowns. This week Foles and the Eagles take on Dallas, who has given up the most points to the quarterback position this year. That fact – and the injuries on defense for the Cowboys – is a good sign for this week.
Heath Miller TE - Pittsburgh
Baltimore has had a tough time covering tight ends this season and although the Steelers have basically been dreadful, the team should wake up against their division rivals. Miller won’t go nuts – he had six catches for 84 yards last week – but he should get a nice chunk of looks and we’d be willing to be that he has one touchdown catch. He kills the Ravens.
Joseph Randle RB - Dallas
With DeMarco Murray out, Randle will get the bulk of the carries for the Cowboys this weekend. The Eagles’ defense is among the worst in the league and has given up an average of 106 yards on the ground each game. He should get plenty of touches and with this contest being the highest projected game for points this week, the odds are certainly in your favor.
Josh Freeman QB - Minnesota
We aren’t quite sure what happened down in Tampa Bay but now Freeman gets a fresh start with the Vikings and if he wants to prove he can be an NFL quarterback, this might be his last chance. He’s playing a Giants team that has given up the second most points to quarterbacks and while we don’t think he’ll go crazy this week, if you need a quarterback, Freeman should still be available on your free agent list.
Peyton Hillis RB - New York Giants
Back in 2010 Hillis dominated the league, running for 1,177 yards and 11 touchdowns with Cleveland. Since then, nothing has gone right for Hillis . This week he received one last shot to resurrect his career. Desperate for a running back, the Giants picked up the free agent and though he might be rusty, Hillis will face a Minnesota defense that has given up the most fantasy rushing points. He is a huge risk but if he plays decent it will pay off – and he’s likely on your free agent list.
