There aren’t too many fantasy football owners left out there who are still checking their team.
Most have been done for a few weeks now or, like us, some failed to even make the post season, but for the rest of you, the excitement is building. Some leagues will hold their championship this week, while for most leagues this is the semifinals – but either way there’s a lot on the line.
We’re going to keep this short and sweet and just come right out with it. So, here are our five sleepers for week 15, feel free to use them to your advantage.

Week 15 Sleepers
Cordarrelle Patterson WR - Minnesota
Patterson is a fantasy owner’s wet dream. He plays wide receiver but also racks up big points returning kicks. The combo amounted to 21 fantasy points total last week and it could happen again this week against Philadelphia and their shoddy special teams. Last week the Eagles gave up two touchdowns and over 200 yards on special teams. Proceed with caution, but Patterson could be a nice payoff.
Jay Cutler QB - Chicago
Cutler cannot seem to stay healthy this season and in his absence Josh McCown has proved that the high-powered offense is able to produce big points no matter who the quarterback. This week, the Bears travel to Cleveland to take on a defense that’s given up the 17th most fantasy points the quarterback position. It’s been a tough season for Cutler, but the stars should be aligned this week and we expect at least a dozen points from No. 6.
Kirk Cousins QB - Washington
Earlier this week, the Redskins announced that Robert Griffin III would be taking some pine for the remainder of the season, so in comes Cousins. He was solid last year, proving to be a legitimate backup and potential starter, and this week he faces an Atlanta team in shambles. The Falcons defense has given up a ton of fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, so why should this week be any different?
Shane Vereen RB - New England
Last week, Vereen exploded for 22 fantasy points against Cleveland and looks to continue what has turned into a solid season. In the last four weeks, the Patriots running back has gotten at least seven points a week, so he’s good for at least that against Miami – a team that has allowed plenty of fantasy points to running backs this season. We’re thinking 10 points.
Zach Ertz TE - Philadelphia
Call it a hunch, but we think Ertz is going to have a big game against Minnesota this week – and why not, given the guy throwing to him? Nick Foles has been on fire and seems to like throwing to his tight ends. Add on the fact that the Vikings have given up the third most fantasy points to tight ends and this could pay off huge. 10 points, well maybe even more.
