The new series “Chopped Canada” had an awesome start last Thursday night, reaping in high ratings and viewership.
Hosted by Dean McDermott, the new Food Network Canada show features some of the country’s top foodies as judges, including Montreal chef Chuck Hughes, Lynn Crawford, Roger Mooking, Susur Lee, and Michael Smith, along with Vikram Vij, Anne Yarymowich, and John Higgins. “Chopped Canada” is the first Canadian edition of the hugely popular Food Network U.S. series “Chopped” where chef hopefuls vie for a large cash prize and the ultimate in bragging rights.
Catch a new episode of “Chopped Canada” on Food Network Canada next Thursday at 10pm, with encore presentations on Saturdays at 12pm.
