JBL Authentics Wireless Speakers Bring Back Retro Styling With Groundbreaking New-Tech Sound

So at CES 2014 they’re showing off their new Authentics L16 and L8 wireless speaker systems that feature authentic materials like real wood and metal—just in a much sleeker, more stylish package.
Able to play your music whenever and wherever you want via AirPlay, DNLA and Bluetooth, the Authentics speakers are the first to feature Harman’s Signal Doctor – their new, exclusive audio technology that takes your low quality digital music file and replaces the details lost in compression—essentially “repairing” compressed music in real time—for studio quality sound the way the artist intended it.
The Authentics L16 ($999) comes wrapped in a retro-feeling walnut-veneer featuring supercharged three-way sound with six 50W amplifiers driving six speakers, while the L8’s ($599) wood box is swathed in a coat of gloss black piano-quality paint housing four 30W amps.
